Marking the grand opening of Fender’s new flagship store in Harajuku, Tokyo, this reunion follows their widely praised 2016 debut. This exclusive collaboration features two iconic collections — the Black & Golden Series and the Blue & Golden Series — each paying tribute to guitar legends Eric Clapton and Kurt Cobain. The designs draw direct inspiration from their signature Fender guitars: the Stratocaster® used by Clapton and the Mustang® favored by Cobain. Dupont uses the same moody, youthful blue as the collection’s main color. In this collection, the Ligne 2 lighter and Line D Eternity writing instruments are reimagined as “visual musical instruments.” The lighter, rollerball pen, and fountain pen integrate guitar forms and string motifs: the lighter cap features a new guilloché pattern inspired by Kintsugi cracks, while the pen clip is transformed into a guitar head.
