S.T. Dupont’s limited edition collaboration series pays tribute to Claude Monet’s Impression, Soleil Levant, an iconic painting first exhibited at the Paris 'Exhibition of the Impressionists'.

Created in just a few hours, the painting showcases remarkable artistic freedom. Since the viewer couldn’t easily recognize Le Havre port in the work, Monet chose to name it Impression.

This title gave birth to the term 'Impressionism', which came to define Monet and his contemporaries. Today, Impression, Sunrise stands as the symbol of Impressionism and is housed in Paris' Marmottan Monet Museum.

Painted on November 13, 1872, Impression, Soleil Levant is considered the founding work of the Impressionist movement. That same year, 25-year-old Simon Tissot-Dupont founded the S.T.
